GTCs
We work exclusively based on the German Freight
Forwarders' Standard Terms and Conditions (ADSp) in their most recent version.
The ADSp may be
accessed here as a PDF. In general, our liability is accordingly
limited to the following maximum amounts: to € 5/kg for damages to goods,
to 2 SDR/kg for multi-modal transport by sea , to € 50,000/per package
overall in any case, € 250,000/per shipment, € 1 million/per year;
item 23.3 for other damages to goods with the exception of personal damages and
property damage to third-party goods to three times of the amount which would
be paid for the loss and at the most to an amount of € 100,000/per damage
event . Item 27 of the ADSp does not apply to carriages which are subject to
the Montreal Convention. Provided that nothing else is expressly agreed
upon, the following are excluded from carriage:
- Packages/shipments which exceed a value of €
50,000/€ 250,000.
- Shipment with insufficient packaging
- Particularly valuable or theft-prone goods (e.g.
money, precious metals, jewellery, watches, gems, art objects, antiques, cheque
and credit cards, valid calling cards and other means of payment, stocks,
securities, documents, liquors, tobacco goods, consumer electronics,
telecommunications equipment, PC devices and accessories) as well as goods
which exceed a value of € 50/kg.
- Perishables (e.g. foodstuffs)
- Arms of all kinds
- Removal goods of all kinds
- Medicinal products of all kinds
- Plants and animals
- Pornographic publications and items
- All goods of which their import and export is
prohibited in accordance with the respective applicable national regulations
- Letter of credit mailings
